i got ticketed for being a passenger in a car and having an open container. The driver and another passenger got the exact same tickets as me. We all had the same court date and the driver and when i got there i went to the window and was given a court date which is tomorrow while the other passenger simply got to pay $300. the driver also got scheduled for another court date earlier this month and when he went to court he simply paid $300. Now i have court tomorrow but i am assigned to a fucking court room so im pretty sure a judge is going to be there. WHAT THE FUCK and is it a good idea to bring this all up to the judge if he tries to fuck me.

It MIGHT have something to do with where you were in the car, i.e. front or back seat.
Like rich people who drink in the back of a limo don't get in trouble.

I can't imagine the judge is going to give two shits what some other judge sentenced your buddy to.

Where is your public defender in all this? That's the guy or gal who's supposed to help you do this.

There's not much point in having a lawyer with you for something minor like this.

Just pay your fucking fine and get on with life, dont drink in cars, that should be obvious.
