At a local bookstore I tend to go to and read all the books/manga/etc, I noticed 2 people arguing over 'god' and the like. I think the other person was a Voodoo Witch (As the other guy was saying her mention of 'witch blood' was 'stupid') One person was saying that 'god' is so large and powerful that humans can't conceive of it as humans only think of dualities and god is in shades of grey. Not the exact anology lol.

Basically after they argued and the like I asked him to explain his info on 'god'; he did saying 'god' showed itself to the sciences, that the dna and human genome project is humans using god's code, etc. I discussed this with him for a while.

He said praying was basically like dialing 911 to the spirit and asking for help. He said a sincere attempt for help/prayer to find god would work, and how much you know, etc won't matter.

I asked him on other tips, he talked about writing down your dreams as it helps you remember more and details, drawing, writing and poetry, etc. were gateways to the imagination, etc. and they help you to connect yourself. He said that 'god' is in all of us and we can access it with the imagination, being our door and the will being the car (As an anology).

He also talked about 'Western Occult' and he said Alexster Crowley was 'advanced' and 'dark', and I was a 'good person' when I asked about whether Crowley influenced western occult.

He mentioned Bota, the Builders of the Adytum. He stated that the organization is hierachiral, and as such it has problems. He talks about how some of the people there are homophbic and racist as a warning, and not to follow them mindlessly even if they are more experienced and knowledgeable; to admire the person's skills but their personality could be 'poisonous' and the like. He warned me specifically about that. When I got home (an hour or so ago) I researched this on the internet.

I found the wiki article and official site. I decided to look at the talks and there were some controversy they didn't add on as it wasn't a good enough source or something.

article I found from wiki talks:
http://celestialearth.tribe.net/thread/fe37477e-797e-45a9-88a6-7f3caa650b45

official site:
http://www.bota.org/

what do you think? guy gave me his number and work numberin case I needed more info, etc.

He recommended this group as he said it provides a good base and he 'graduated' from there/was a member there first when going into occult. (before then, he said he was a Roman Catholic)

so?

Go, it'll probably be interesting! Like most religious organizations, it probably has its problems, but, yeah, just go, I want to be entertained by your report.
Wait, is it near you? Whatever, B.O.T.A. seems lame, just an average occult group.
