Is there anyone else here who wears Affliction Clothing? Personally I love the shit...spent way to much money on it though. What are your thoughts on the style/brand?

So I went and checked this out...
Shit is fucking horrible. Nearly as bad as your signature and user name. Nearly.

Blazer jackets with 'hardcore' graphics down the sides? Give me a fucking break.
This is to Heavy Metal guys as Abercrombie & Fitch is to jocks.

Seriously, I don't believe they are going for a 'heavy metal' look....I do agree the blazers are stupid though.
And just what is wrong with my name? I have been on here since 03, original name was The Agency, until the site went down a while back. Not that your Aussie ass would have any military experience to know what the hell it means anyway...
The Agency.
I spit on people who wear that shit.

Now I know why the call it "affliction" clothing; you have to be retarded to pay for it.

It's not a matter of the price. It's a matter of paying that much for something that looks that bad and most likely isn't made from quality materials. I've paid well over $200 for a pair of jeans that are made from raw, first cut denim and fit like I grew up in them. Some people may scoff at this but it's like anything; if it's what you want then you will pay and I have no qualms paying for clothing that I want, just like some people have no problem paying outrageous amounts for a vehicle that they want or a new television or some sporting gear or a fucking guitar.
Don't get me wrong, I buy over half of my clothes from thrift shops. However this is mixed with certain, usually high-priced pieces, that I find around the place.
I suppose my point is; I would never pay money for that brand of clothing. To the OP: Buy what you like dude, just don't claim something is awesome when it sucks. Go check out a 'cool' (used loosely and pretentiously I know but fuck the haters, it's true...) club in your area and see what people are wearing. You'll look like a idiot wearing that shit while guys in ripped singlets, captains hats, $400 jeans and battered boat shoes take home the hot broads. Fuck you probably don't go out anyway. Fuck you probably don't give a shit.
Fashion is the most subjective thing in the whole world
Wear what gets your motor going. :)
And what exactly do you wear?
Fred Perry, Topman, Nike, K-Swiss, Gio Goi, Adidas, Lacoste, Addict, Fly 53, Superdry, Supreme, McKenzie, etc..
But to say the least, I'm not a goth so I wouldn't wear any 'Affliction' clothing.

Iz Joo Ah Chav?
I wouldn't say so.. I wear skinny jeans with polo shirts and track jackets; ride BMX, & listen to a variety of dance and rock music; I drink in a rock pub mainly but go to chavvy clubs cos they play good music. I don't exactly sit in bus stops drinking cider and stabbing people

Well $200 for a pair of jeans isn't totally ridiculous, I'd spend that much on some real nice raw selvage denim. But that shit, jeez. That looks like not even half the quality of what I'd get.
Protip: clothes with skulls on them stopped being cool when you were 11.
I think they're okay as long as it's not trying to say "I love death" or something.

For the most part I agree with it being over priced and crappy styling, but the White Georges St Pierre Warcrest T-shirt is something I'd buy if I could find it.
Good gracious.
I'm not a particularly judgmental person...especially when it comes to fashion, but great jumping Jesus I've never seen anything gayer then that—and I've attended the Folsom Street Festival for 3 years!!

closeminded dickhead.
Affliction was pretty damn hot, but I'm not into this new fighter's name on all their shit. The other problem is it's starting to attract the 14 year old crowd (whether on purpose or not, I have no idea). It used to be the shit to wear around here if you wanted a nice looking t-shirt. Now Ed Hardy is starting to pick up, but I'm way too cheap for that. I'll pay over $200 for jeans, but I'm not paying $100 for this piece of shit shirt (http://content.nordstrom.com/ImageGallery/store/product/MediumLarge/7/_5607427.jpg)

I'd be careful with pink only some guys can pull it off, I can't so I don't wear it, but no theirs nothing wrong with being clean cut it's not gay (I work in construction and off the job I dress very clean cut, polos, nice jeans, ect.. and I'd consider myself extremely masculine.) at all and it gets you a ton of pussy cause girls love guys that look good and respect themselves.

While I agree that most Affliction designs are retarded, I got a free t shirt from them while shopping at The Buckle. I spent a certain amount at the store and they gave me a free Affliction shirt. It's just a shirt advertising some UFC fight. I only wear it around the house but it fits very nicely and feels great. I just wish they'd use their material for better designs...

Hollister slaps their stupid logo on everything.

Fashion is about individuality, expression, comfort and function, not looking like some mass produced billboard.
Take the same money you would have wasted on hollister, get some tailored jeans/pants and a tailored pink shirt if you really want.
You could get better materials, not look like everyone else and be much more comfortable.
A friend of mine wears Affliction....fucking fail if you ask me. Far too tight and small in general.

Its comfortable, and cheap enough too. I don't really feel like blowing 200 dollars on a shirt.
Most of the affliction stuff looked like junk. IMO the Monarchy stuff looks much better.

It doesn't really matter what brand your clothes are as long as they go together well and the end result looks good. If you want a clean cut look, stay away from ripped jeans. Get a pair of straight-cut jeans with a darker denim, preferably not prefaded.
If your going for clean cut then wear some fucking slacks or khakis. Not only are they comfortable as hell, I think they last a little longer then jeans. Also, if you want unique things either learn to screen print your own stuff or http://www.etsy.com/category_sub.php?tags=clothing.men

Since when was a brand "for" a certain group of people? The only group Affliction is "for" is people with no taste.
I buy clothes exclusively from WalMart and similar superstores and thrift stores.
It's cheap, practical, and is easily worn in.
I laugh at people who spend $200 for one pair of jeans at those "upscale" stores, when I can buy 20 pairs of jeans that look exactly the same minus the (stupid) logos, and are more comfortable.
http://www.cloggs.co.uk/content/ebiz/cloggs/invt/298/wrangler_110088lowtech_7465_m_01.jpg
In terms of shirts, I wear:
http://di1.shopping.com/images/di/38/4d/4e/4f5f79364d3756596f6543526143466f305f41-150x150-0-0.jpg
http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/5a/Ashirt.jpg/413px-Ashirt.jpg
A-shirts are easily obtainable at WalMart at $10 for a 3-pack. The button-up shirts are purchasable at thrift stores for $2-6 each.
The only really expensive thing I wear are my Vans shoes, but only because they're so comfortable and I got them on sale.

Yeah.
Parents can be stingy when it comes to clothes.
Nonetheless, when I move out on my own this is still the way I'd shop for clothes. Spending less on clothes lets you get other more expensive things.
