If all you got was a ticket, pay it in a timely fashion and do not have to make a court appearance, I can't imagine why they would send you anything in the mail.

Then again, I have no idea exactly what was mailed to you nor what the other offence you had to make the appearance for or what kind of stuff they mailed to you.

I'm not sure about New Jersey, but in New Hampshire, i believe it is illegal for an officer to stop anyone purely on the basis of looking underage. So, I'd look this up.

If you're that worried, drive to the court house and pay it in person with cash. While you're there, ask them if they're going to mail you anything (I doubt they will).

Any reason why you won't tell us what the other charge is?

Also, be glad you live in Jersey. It you lived in Massachusetts you would lose your license for 60 days and have to pay a $100 reinstatement fee.

The other previous charges were driving after 12 on a provisional license and reckless driving.

After that, my parents came down real hard on me and that's why I made this thread. It's not like they weren't justified in doing so, but I just wanted to make sure of everything before they get a surprise letter in the mail,
