They're sins and as such they are abominations against god.

Because sin is fun.
Human nature is to commit what the church calls sin. It is what we want, and desire.
If you seek to control somebody you have to have something they desire, right? If you control their fucking ego, their basic desires, you control them.
How do you control this basic desire? Simple, make everyone ashamed of their desires. Whatever nonsense you choose to make people ashamed is unimportant, only important thing is that it works. Soon (if you built your religion right) whole communities of people who will wag their finger at you for being so disgustingly sinful.
Permit them to unashamedly fuck, only when properly wed (by your church for a small fee of course).
Forgive them of thier sins (through confession, or repentance) if they are a paying church member in good standing (10% is the Christian rate to save your soul I believe).
The true nature of any religion is to control the masses. Control on a level that only religion (Jonestown, Heaven's Gate, Suicide Bombers, Branch Dividians) can muster.

These are all things that give momentary experiences of joy or ecstasy. As you gain wisdom you realise that you can go straight for the source of joy and ecstasy, which is god. Acts of sin are things that distract you from your focus on God.
But the church misunderstands that to give up these things is something you get to by choice, when you've reached a stage along your evolutionary path where they no longer serve you.

This is exactly right, why we think sinful activities are fun.
But the reason why these things are condemned is because the first people to deem such activities sinful, when they created the first religions where they are considered sinful, had a personal belief that these things are bad and should not be done. Unless you want to believe that a God spoke to people and told them that they are bad, butthats another story....

Because if you want to fufill yourself in ways other than through your faith, then you have an alternative to church, and religion being societys way of controlling the masses has made any type of pleasure other than basking in the radience of god a one way ticket to hell. Control is the name of the game.
You only really mentioned like two things: sex and drugs.
I think there are probably various reasons these two things have been so interesting to religion. I will assume that by this point in the thread, several people have mentioned the desire to control others. People desire sex and drugs, and by gaining control over the peoples desires the elite gains control over the people.
Another reason could be the lessons to be learned by having sex or taking drugs. These things have much to tell about reality to those with open ears, and these things are what spiritual rituals and traditions became based around. Sex and drugs. In some religions these things became reserved only for the 'clergy'.
Another reason they could be forbidden, is that while they may have a lot to teach, becoming completely obsessed with any one part of reality blinds you from the rest of reality. How are you ever to learn and grow when you refuse to move from where you are?
I would say most religious perspectives on sex and drugs are the result of a combination of these factors, rather then direct result of any one.

Sin was contrived by organized religion for control.
Wisdom is not related to how much a person believes or relies on an imaginary friend.
I have focused on God. I have believed. I was a member of a baptist church in good standing for a good number of years.
I found little joy in it. I found little joy or comfort reading the mind fuck that is the bible. I found little joy in turning the other cheek, not cursing, pretending with the other pretenders on Sunday to be something special in the eyes of my imaginary friend for grown ups.
NOW, buttfucking my unwed girlfriend, while we watch porn, drink and smoke, I find joy in that however fleeting. It is not my sole reason for existing. It is not the sole provider of joy in my life. It is something I simply enjoy.
I enjoy watching violent movies filled with cursing and sex. I enjoy jerkin my gerkin. I enjoy telling someone who deserves to get fucked, to get fucked. I enjoy living my life for me and those I care about, and nothing else.
I enjoy these things without shame, without fear, without guilt, and without being outcast.
In short, I enjoy my life without your God.
Hard for you to believe, I know. Is it hard for you to believe, b/c if what I am saying is true, then it means your prayer and worship are not needed for you to be fufilled and happy. You could be enjoying a life free of uneeded shame and guilt.
Why then are you unable to?
Fear?

Don't forget to tighten your tin foil hat. They'll be preaching directly into our brains next.
I've just been reading genesis lately. God says quite often "go forth and multiply a lot". He's not exactly against fucking and popping out a shit load of babies.
But I haven't read the whole bible.
I've also read somewhere that if you feel lust for a women (I assume who's in a relationship), you are going against gods will. He says you are having an affair with her heart or some shit. So that means you deserve to go to hell.
This shit is confusing.
Does god want us to fuck but not enjoy it?

Just a real good justification there. And logical, too.

Sex is forbidden by the church because of an ancient tradition it adopted when Christianity crossed Egypt. The followers of the temple of Isis could not fuck, then, when they adopted Christianity, the church adopted their no sex tradition.
As for alcohol, booze is not forbidden by the Catholic church. Even Jesus was described by the scripts to have turned water into wine, and to greet with wine on his dinners and ceremonies along with the other twelve.
Alcohol was forbidden only by the so well know cult of the Puritans.
Those retards were only a bunch of rednecks from isolated populations with no actual culture. As far as knowledge or education went, God made it all, dont piss him off or he will destroy all of us. So, these people were paranoid, easily upset, very close minded and also, very coward.
If your kid was messy, he would upset the neighbors, who usually were a lone elderly couple who wanted everything to be calm and quiet, and so they would be angry at you and God would punish you, hence, your kids or anyone werent allowed to have fun.
Drugs werent much known back then. They were only medicinal herbs, of which people would make teas or extract oils for pain and stress relief, for relaxation and well being. No one ever knew about smoking until America was discovered. So, as far as for religion goes, drugs are not forbidden.
Smoking was only seen as queer and even as a crime by the Spanish Catholic church and the Inquisition who claimed that only the Devil could make a man blow smoke.
What they didnt think of was that if the Devil, being inferior to God could, then God himself could as well.
Also, sure as hell they didnt take the time to understand the mechanics of smoking.
Oh, by the way, Jesus, as told by the stories, had a girlfriend named Mary (not his mother, dumbass, another Mary), but the Church never tells you that.

Yes, I knew it already. She was a prostitute who Jesus saw outside his door in one of his ceremonies. He told her to come in, sat her on a chair and washed her feet and her face (as told by the stories), sure as well he washed her entire body, no sweat, he was giving a good example of humanity and forgiveness.
I dont know the rest of it, I do know they were partners, they were even buried in the same tomb.
