Professional? Most fansubs I've seen have been incredibly accurate since they are made by perfectionists that are obsessed with Japanese.

I don't know, lol. I love the captions that explain cultural references. Do you know any other fansubs of that quality that are going to do Naruto Shippuden after episode 66?

I think Dattebayo might continue after people take their shit off of streaming websites though, so there is hope!

Who the fuck cares if someone streams something they subbed? Are they losing money because of it? i don't keep up with dattebayo or naruto really, but i remember reading somewhere that the announcement that they would stop subbing naruto was just a prank. from what i understand, they like to do that from time to time to keep people on their toes.

i don't want to get false hopes up, so i'll look around for confirmation on that. chances are, they're still gonna be doing the fansubs, but dunno.

plus, if they don't want their work streamed, it's probably because fansubbing isn't exactly legal. they simply don't want that illegal content posted all over fucking youtube with their names on it causing legions of law ninjas to come crashing down on them.

i rarely keep up with the going ons of various fansub groups. in fact, i really don't give a fuck about any of them until i can't find subs of a particular movie or series. i can probably name three or four fansub groups off the top of my head and that's it. two of them were mentioned in this forum recently.

the only reason i knew all this info about dattebayo was because i googled it. i don't watch naruto. :p
