I wear skinny jeans, & I own a few pairs of girls skinny jeans because they fit better (low on the hips), they arn't exactly frilly with flowery stitching on so I don't really care.

If you think wearing a certain article of clothing will get you ass, then absolutely not... you're wasting your life wearing seriously uncomfortable clothes to fit in with a crowd that's probably going to drag you into a shit life anyways.

I'm being straight with you man, if you feel you need to be more attractive just be clean, wear normal fitting clothes with a t-shirt without holes and emo/deathmetal bands.

Also, though I admittedly only wear them occasionally, I have never had any particular trouble when it comes to pulling. And no, they aren't all scene chicks.

I used to skate, and I sure as hell wouldn't be able to skate in skinny jeans. Also, strangely, I'm also from Cheshire (or thereabouts).

Some of my really good girl "friends" like them but other think they look ridiculous, if you want the perfect pair of tightish jeans get K-Slims from Krew, they are comfortable, causal, stylish, and nice enough to make you look good.

Just because they are skinny jeans, doens't mean they're restricting. If they are, you need to move up a size. Although I would imagine it would be quite a bit easier to skate in loose clothing.
