If there is in fact a god then he has a sick sense of humor and is an evil puppet master. According to the Bible we are all made by him in his image and he knows our fate before we are born yet gives us free will to choose our destiny. 1 follow him get heaven 2 don't burn forever. Well first of all I don't remember choosing birth in the first place. And second how the fuck is follow me or burn a fucking choice? The way I see it is god is like a child playing with his army men he decides who lives and dies and buys or in this case just makes another person to manipulate and play with until boredom sets in. So we are mere pawns in an endless cycle.

Of course you don't choose to be born. Your parents choose that for you. Just like they choose to indoctrinate you into religion or not. Any young person who believes they will roast in eternal hell fire for not believing in God has had that burned into their head by their parents.
A more appropriate title would be "Your parents will fuck you up".

You might want to add friends and a majority Christian society to that list too.

Amen to both of you.
One of the biggest obstacles to spiritual growth is the fear-mongering, the promotion of the illusion of separation and the superstition of materialism, and the glorification of the ego by the government, advertising industry, entertainment industry and media in general.

OP, wanna stretch your tiny mind a bit? Let's assume that we have free will, which is absolute, that our souls are immortal, and the point of incarnating on the earth plane is to learn by experience. These ideas are becoming more and more universal, BTW.
Therefore, it follows logically that you DID in fact choose to be born and to the parents you have. Of course you don't remember this, any more than you can recall any of your past lives. Most people can't, which is why so many people ask me for past life readings.
From our limited point of view, it is hard to fathom why a person would choose to be born defective somehow, or to experience things we judge as undesireable. In the context of infinity, however, one lifetime is the blink of an eye, and matters little in the big picture.
Arms, I do not see any reason why it should be more believable that we have chosen the experiences we have, then that we just experience whatever we do out of the chaotic infinite.
I think I'll choose to accept my lord Jesus H. Christ as my personal savior tomorrow. After all, it's only "just a choice".

Now you're starting to get it--there IS a chaotic infinite and I stress INFINITE--DC posits that we can sense only about one-billionth part of all available data--even if you quibble about a few decimal places, that is still a lot.
Out of this chaos of quantum soup, we create our own reality by what we choose to observe, what we think about it, and how we feel about it. Mostly, we do a lousy job of it.

I think it would be more accurate to say "we create our own reactions to reality" then "we create our own reality" ... unless there is some reason to believe I have picked my experience off a list rather then just happening to experience it out of the chaotic infinite.
