View Full Version : Digital Voice Recorders
I'm going into second year and I've heard that digital voice recorders help increase grades substantially. Has anyone had any experience using these, and if so which models are the best?
I guess if you use them properly, they could be convenient. You aren't going to just record a class, and suddenly jump from a C to a B, obviously.
If you're sufficient at note taking, I wouldn't even bother. Plus, would you really want to listen to an hour long seminar a second time, instead of taking notes on the focus points the first time through?

Well, just incase I forget something I could just store them all on my harddrive. I probably would never have to go back, but just in case I thought it would be useful. If there was a very important/inspiring lecture, I could listen to it as much as I wanted 'til I grasped all the concepts.

Good reasoning. I'd say go for it, then, if your plan is to just use it as a backup.
Sorry, I can't help you on any model, or brand, though. I've never used them myself.

The Olympus digital recorders are pretty good, and affordable.
