Well recently I have been able to use the Metra to go to the city center/downtown and walk around, go to the Taste of Chicago, walk Michigan Ave (and a lesser extent, State St) and go to the Sears Tower.

Basically, do you know of any other fun things to do downtown or anywhere in the Chicago Area?

Any info on Dance Clubs? It seems that Rush St. is mainly 21+ so :( for me. Specifically Euro?

I personally don't like to get involved with activities that are meant for tourists like that Taste of Chicago bullshit. Just meet some people who live there that like to have a good time and have them show you around, or even just cruise around and find stuff do do by yourself.

thx for reminding me, LOL at how there were so many Hindus/French/Russians/etc at the Sears Tower. Many Hindus downtown too. Yes I know it's the city center..

I see similar stuff at other parts (the Schamburg Mall), shitloads of Greeks and Russians there.

Just meet some people who live there that like to have a good time and have them show you around, I actually managed to do that somewhat yesterday at the Venetian Show. Some people who lived downtown, college people and their parents, let me have some of their food and drink and talked to them, etc.

or even just cruise around and find stuff do do by yourself.been doing that all month lol :D

It works...it works, I've ran into the Venetian Show that way by simply deciding to go to the Lakefront.

Most likely Morraine Valley, a decent Community College in the suburbs. So I'll have to pay more as I live in the city lol.
