Say a policemen came into my home and found me smoking weed. What is the worst that can happen (I live in QLD Australia).

Also hypothetically say I don't have a record.

Never used to be a real big deal but thanks to ruddling-san you would be charged with possession of smoking paraphernalia as well. A friend of mine is coincidentally in this situation right now. There were 7 charges but a lot of them were the same thing worded differently. Anyway he got community service and has to go to counseling for a couple months.

and a cop will never just walk into your house whilst you have a bong to your lips.

unless you have a pound on you, or weed in a bunch of saddies, not much will happen to you.

I've been busted with about a quarter oz a couple times, the cops were real nice to me each time, just don't act like an asshole. cops are people just doing a job like anyone else.
each time was whilst driveling home after getting it, and the cops smelt it.
hand it over or we'll tear your car apart, basically.

once I was waiting on the side of the road for over an hour for a divvy van to rock up and take me away.

the whole time i was sitting in the drivers set, keys in the ignition un handcuffed.
just sitting there chatting to the cop like he was a good friend, flipping through my CD collection and playing random tunes we both liked.
went to court and got nothing, just a non recored conviction and a small fine, thats 3 non recorded convictions for weed position i now have.

They didn't even try and dig into where i bought it from or anything like that.
Cops really don't care about weed, they know if your stoned your just sitting at home giggling at the TV and not causing them more hassle.
