If you realy want an eyebrow piercing go for a bar. IMO it looks much better then a ring.

if you want a metal look you should gauge your ears till you can fit cookie cutters in them
I don't like eyebrow piercings unless the person has really pretty eyebrows. In which case, barbell.
If you're 'leaning towards the metal look' labret piercings with a spike in there seem to be the standard.

I used to have snakebites when i was a faggot during my younger teen years.
I learnt my lesson.
& i wouldn't recommend them.
Eyebrow piercings look alright, but i think you gotta have a certain face to be able to suit them. And get a bar :)

yeah i was thinking of maybe two bars about a quarter inch apart on the outside of my left eyebrow i am going to make them myself and have a few more questions
firstly is it ok to make them myself or do they have to be certified or something?
is it ok to sue sterling silver or do i have to use stainless?
is there any rule for the relation ship between head diameter and shank diameter?
cheers for the help as always

If you've got the means go ahead and make it, that's really cool.
Sterling should work just fine.
I don't know what head diameter and shank diameter are, but I don't think so. Just make sure it's around the right size and you're good.

no don't make your own jewerly. thats dumb. it's not that expensive.
i suggest a septum ring. i have one. they hurt like a bitch when it's being pierced , but worth it after it heals. while it's healing, the only time it hurts is if you touch it.
if you're piercing it yourself, i recommend buying a hypodermic needle (hollow) they're not too expensive. you can buy them on ebay, for about 2 bucks a piece i think, and the piercing shops i have around here sells them.
but, if you're using a safety pin, sewing needle, etc. make sure you sanitize it first. i usually soak it in alcohol, or burn it with a lighter. (make sure the flame is not too close to the needle because it can create soot.)
as for your eyebrow. that can probably be a hard piercing to do yourself without clamps. theres not many nerve endings in the eyebrow so it's not very painful. also take into consideration the side of your face you sleep on, if you sleep on your side. and one more thing. make sure you needle is the same gauge or one gauge bigger than your jewelry. i pierced my tounge with an 18 gauge needle and shoved a 14 gauge bar through it. it was not fun.
i hope i helped :]

I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself full stop. Even if you've got all the right equiptment and it's steralised to fuck, if you don't know what you're doing or what works with the anatomy you're just gonna fuck yourself up. Eyebrow wise, if you're going for a bar then stick to curved ones, since a straight barbell can put more pressure on it and make it grow out quicker.
To be honest though, I'm with whoever said a septum piercing. If you're wanting the 'metal look' for outside of work then it's less hassle having to take the jewelery out and hope that the hole stays the same for you to put it back in, since you can just wear a straight barbell or a horseshoe/retainer and flip it up for work.

i have absolutely no intention of doing the piercing myself that's what piercing shops are for as for making the bar myself i see no reason why it would be dumb for a jeweller to make an item of jewellery but hey your opinions may differ
