For those who feel that there will be a wide-scale collapse in the US, or wherever you live, what kind of plans are you making to improve your chances of surviving the coming armageddon?

You know, I would just start farming and growing food. And I would teach others how to do it. That way, survivors will be tied together. Robbing and raping is senseless.

i'm joining the peace corps next year, and i'll likely never return to america. i hope to travel abroad and find a nice country that won't be worth blowing up, so when the bombs fall, my only worry is fallout, and you may not be able to hide from that anywhere.

I'm semi-prepared. I already have an AK variant, handguns and shotguns plus a few mags and ammo.

Some things that immediately come to mind are:

Fentanyl - in case i get hurt/injured or give up on life
Antibiotics - for infections
Benzos - because they relax me
GPS - if it works during SHTF :o
4-wheel drive truck
bandaids/gauze
DUCK TAPE - cause it can fix anything
Gas
water

considering i love to hunt i have
2 rifles long range hunting rifles with scopes and ammo
a 12 gauge with ammo and will be purchasing a springfield-armory XD 45 in a few months
ability to walk long distances
heavy winter clothes backpack knives capable of killing something or gutting.
all my realives have many guns ( as in enough to form a few platoons my uncle alone has 47 i think now)
tons of canned and non perishable foods
GPS
knowledge of the out lying area around my city
cant think of anything else right now

Well, TSHTF isn't neccasarily going to be nuclear war. And even if it was, you couldn't escape or bug-out or anything you would do during martial law or invasion or something. Because all transport would be clogged to fuck with idiots trying to do the same thing.

And in a martial law scenario, if you survive There are going to be humans elsewhere on the planet. Take a boat to greenland or something. Lol.

We should start organizing on a larger scale. If you do survive until after SHTF how will you contact other survivors? No matter what you want last long if someone with a bigger gun and a different idea comes along.

As for preperation: I have an ideal location for a stronghold. Well fenced in area that could grow food and house up to 100 people. I need to arm it though. :(
