Whats your opinions on dying hair? Natural, unnatural or just left alone?

Nothing wrong with dyeing your hair. I think as long as it looks nice and natural - ie. none of those silly brown and blonde stripes some girls get - then it's fine. Sometimes getting a whole new hair color can change your outlook and perspective on life, might give you a little self-confidence boost.

I dunno why but I hate huge contrasts in haircolour, unless theyre really bright like pink and blue, I dunno things like black and platinum blonde just look trashy as fuck IMO.
Just dyed part of mine teal today, along with the rest being blonde, fancied a change and a bit of brightness since the weather this summer is sucking so far!

Depends on the person, hair, etc. I hate when you see those do-it-yourself jobs on all the emo people dying their hair black. It just looks dry, dull and straw-like. Although I'm sure that's not helped by the fact they straighten it to fuck every day. Seriously though, have they not heard of conditioner?

As long as it looks healthy, it doesnt bother me. I dyed my hair blue a few years back.

girl who went to my school had hair like that, it was thick and layered so always ended up really frizzy and huge haha. Dyed black hair on pale people looks bad full stop imo, but badly dyed black is even worse haha.
Aw bet it didn't look that bad, I'm still not sure on mine suiting me and cant work out yet cause theres blonde next to face in the way of the blue/green.

i belach mine about once every 6 weeks, to get rid of roots and i have to say that you NEED to make sure you get a good conditioner or its guna turn into straw, its an investment worth making though unless you want to look like an emo scarecrow.

I've been dying my hair an assortment of colours since like grade 5. My hair is naturally brown. I hate the colour brown. I've been pretty much every natural colour and most synthetic ones. My hair has been turquoise for the best few months, going green and pink soon.

I think dying your hair is sweet. Like prettypoems said, changing your hair colour can boost your confidence and change your attitude.

I think hair is really weird in the first place, like weird stringy shit that grows out of the top of your face. Might as well have some fun with it.

Imo, dying your hair is a touchy subject. It has to be done right. crazy fucking color explosions are ugly to me, not sure about others, but sometimes, if it's done right, it fits.

I agree with it having to be done right to look good,I mean I'm re-dying half of mine cause the other side turned out brighter and i can't cope with it.
I hope when you say dying it white you mean bleaching, cause not even the most amazing dye will get your hair white, even if you're naturally blonde- about 3 bleaches with a week and conditioning every few days between them, then get some violet/white toner on it, it's impossible to bleach to white, once it gets to light yellow it stops working.

I have my hair dyed black with red in it..but im getting sick of it now. i was thinking of dying it white..or as white as i can get it..or atleast something more colorful..dying it black every 3 weeks or so can get tedious if you have blonde roots coming through.

Ya, it's green now though. I seem to have a totse theme going with my hair colours. I've gotta bleach my hair a fuckkkloadddd to get colour in it. Probably like once a month to cope with roots and shit.

Green? Awesome, you don't see a lotta chicks with long hair that dye it rainbow colours. What are you using?

Yeahh it's like turquoise, green and a few shades of blue but they blend in with each other so it's not stripey. I'm using some stuff called directions, don't know if they sell it outside of UK but most colours of it are pretty good, and it's not too expensive.
