This is my second "Recommend:" thread, but ever since this forum was in hot topics, I've turned into an anime nut. Anyway, the title explains it all, I just finished watching FLCL (all 6 eps) and I craved for more, so do any of you guys know of any anime like FLCL? Whether visually or plot like.

i don't know too many anime like flcl. the great thing about it, i guess, is it's uniqueness. something beautiful about the mix of humor, art, and music that nobody's been able to top or duplicate.

dead leaves is probably the closest. it has a sort of odd art style and awesome characters. it's powered by funny, badass and a heavy soundtrack.

mezzo dsa. mikura reminds me of haruko in a lot of ways. also very funny and a good punk/techno sort of soundtrack.

desert punk isn't really related in any way at all, but it'll make you laugh. a lot.

excel saga might also be very close to what you're looking for...perhaps even closer than dead leaves. they've taken random sillyness and made it into a work of art. someday i plan to finish watching this one...
