What do you still need to do before school starts?

I'm starting the slow march towards classes, so I'm guessing that other people are beginning to consider things.

I need to figure out where I want to live and what I want to be doing for money during the school year. These are first on my agenda.

What's on yours?

Figure out how I'm gonna balance 18 credits in all chemistry math and physics classes, and do a part time job. O well, I knew what I was getting into when I registered. I have an apartment for next year, although there's 6 people in it with 2 small bedrooms, which will be tight, and I still have to do some shit with that.

I'm not worried about money. I've a good RESP and have been working all summer. It is definitely nice to not have to worry about that; unlike last year...

I'm mostly worried about my course load, need quite a few specific credits in quite a short period of time to get into the IR major. Hence why I've been taking classes all summer.

I take a look at how many more credits I can take, how many more I have to take, and where I'd like to allocate the difference. I look at what clubs/organizations I want to join and email their leaders if I can't find them on the day that the school registers for them. I look at my transportation options and see what I need to do to make them as efficient as they can be.

I go back for RA training soon. It should be an interesting year.

By knowing the material ahead of time. That's how you can do it.
Unless you know the material, doing that is very difficult.
It's possible without knowing it, but ... unless you like thinking 24/7 and crunching number via the third eye.
That shit is more junior level, though. So, since you're a noob, you are most likely doomed.
If you can pull it off, though, with all A's you'll come out a badass.
I've done it before. Sleep is low, tolerance for idiocy is low, aggression is high.

geez how do you not know where you're going to live? at my school people sign leases like half a year in advance.

i'll be in the dorms again next year, sigh. oh well i'll survive. i still got a month of summer left since my school is on quarters and starts late. i've got money leftover from last year's private loan, so i won't have to borrow any this year, just from the government. and then i got some scholarships too, and money in the bank from working this summer. i'm going to have to start taking classes in a specific major as i am now technically a junior, probably will be criminology for lack of anything better coming to mind these past few years.

my goal is to get straight As my first quarter, which shouldn't be too hard since my classes are fairly easy, and drink as much as will allow for that.

Ok, I'm now ready for school, outside of deciding where I'd like to work. Tips do sound mighty tempting.

I refuse to not work during school, it's simply lazy.

I picked up my new student ID, school laptop, decided where I'm going to live for now, and picked up some basic school supplies.
