I'm trying to find a non-harsh ph neutral sanitizing solution that requires little rinsing.

The ultimate would be some form of powder but I'm not sure of the disinfecting properties to be had from something like that.

I can't say what it's for, but I will post info once legal issues are handled. (No it's nothing illegal, I just have to keep it on the dl.

Any ideas?

Solution != powder

Iodine or an alcohol solution. I'm not sure how antibacterial acetone is, but it evaporates very easilly.

It would really help if you disclosed a little bit more about what you need this for. I've always liked 3% hydrogen peroxide or isopropyl alcohol for general sanitation. I can't imagine 3% H2O2 having a pH drastically different than water, but your best bet for a neutral sanitizer is alcohol; the higher the concentration, the better.
