late 2009-2010:Possible civil war and chaos in America because of fall of government, economic failure and skyrocketing cost of living (think starvation, death, riots and third world standards in the ghetto)

2010:U.N. leaders and other influential powers decide to implement a north American union to save American economy and end civil chaos. Issuance of the Amero.

I also think this is all going to happen under Obama's presidency to make him look like a black failure of a president - not able to do anything but watch the country fall into anarchy and chaos, because the Illuminati are racist.

As far as I know the bills have all already been signed and we are already part of the NAU.

We'll see what comes of it, although it's hard to believe that a superpower like the US can fall, go bankrupt etc. I don't think it's possible, because of all the wealth already conatined withing it's borders. On the other hand, the wealth in old steel russian tanks left over in Afganistan could probably feed a small country for a couple of months.

I Mean its taken like 50+ years for the EU to get where it is. So Id think the NAU will come later rather than sooner. It will just be a slow progression of the SPP and such. However It is likely that the "Amero" could pop up sooner rather than later. Especially with the economy currently.

and it begins. I've seen nothing but gloom and doom in the media this month about corporate and banking giants that are slowly going under.

I still hope the best for the American economy, but I don't have any good predictions.

As it's always been.

The first empowered global parliament could (after the failure of the League Of Nations) only have been established in the aftermath of WW2 and after the historic atrocities of political Fascism and Nazism had been witnessed full-spectacle by the world. Roughly the same thing will probably happen around America's fall from super-duper-power status. Whether we get some kind of October Surprise and/or enter open war with Iran, or we just witness a slow economic bleed as the process of globalization supersedes American hegemony, the general idea is that America's feats of empire and exploitation will have gone too far through these her twilight years and she will have to be reigned back in by the global community--eventually to serve as the ideological justification for whatever further consolidations of global geopolitical authority (the North American Union, some expansion of the U.N. or what have you) occur after she steps down from the throne.
