As some of you may or may not know, I have been selling RCs out of my house for the last couple of months, and today the DEA came and arrested me. One of the first things they asked me (after "give us all your contacts") was "What kind of sick freak would sell all of THIS (pointing to various powders lying around the lab)?!" The question was rhetorical and not directed at me, but I responded anyway with "somebody who wants to explore themselves". The officer responded with "You need to be taught some morals, kid". I replied with "I have a well-rounded set of ethics, sir, but morals are outside of my capacity". He then replied with "You atheist scum are destroying America, you know that?", and led me out to the cruiser. Have any of you experienced such a situation? Were you ever discriminated against by somebody who didn't share your beliefs?

P.S. Before the idiots ask, this isn't nshanin, this is his very close friend. He obviously can't post while in jail, but told me to make this thread because he thought it might be interesting to see what totse says.

I think that it is interesting that he assumed he was athiest. Too bad he got busted, how did he get caught?

He was. Well, mostly. They obviously won't tell me how he got caught and I haven't heard from him since, and even when I spoke to him he couldn't tell me because he didn't know.

I find "sharing my beliefs" with every Tom, Dick, and Jackass counter-productive, so I don't bother. What's the point?

This.

Don't say anything. Just ask for a lawyer.
