We've got a backyard ballistics forum for just this sort of thing.

you sent me a message and i replyed to that message

about 1/3 star weight is general rule up to 6 inch shells ... so say a 220g in stars about 74 grams lift

1/10 the weight of the shell.

For shells, a starting point would be about 45-50% of normal BP lift qty.
For mines, 75%

1oz per lb of shell weight in 2FA up to some odd big shells where it changes... but thats probably not something you should be concerned with if your posting here.

keeping in mind the type of lift comp and size

H3 is a wonderful lift if done right as to not contaminate with S

H3 does pack a hell of a punch when it comes to lifting stuff, but it can be a little tricky ... if your amounts are off you can end up shattering your stars, or cracking your shell or mortar.


it'll all still go up just fine, but you can get a little bit of a "mine" effect.
