well im going to the philippines in a few months, and i thougth i was gonna get a few butterfly knives there. what would be the best way to bring it back to the states.

Mail it to yourself.

Buy some while in the U.S. or mail them back.

I have several balisongs I bought off the net or at flea markets, some are complete crap but look cool, and there are a few I really like and work well.

I brought a number of knives back from mexico (including balisongs). Just make sure they are in your checked luggage and you'll be fine. Doesn't even matter if you are underage, just declare them as souvenirs.
