curtains-no time to make them,to broke to by them and not rugged enough

paint- did some tests on scrap glass with no sucess

Methinks this belongs in Gearheads, but meh.

Paint should work quite well, but it's a little permanent... what's the problem with it?

If all else fails tape up some trash bags temporarily?

If you really just want them blacked out and don't care about anything else, paint should do the trick as said above.

You might need to rough up the surrface with some gritty sandpaper...but if the tint is stuck to the inside of the window you might have to take it off first.

Or just get some glue and a black plastic garbage bag and smear the glue all over the inside of the window then cut the garbage bag out to fit the window and apply where you want it. black paper would be easier but it would fade easily.

Your local laws may say something about window tint. Just sayin. Would suck to get a ticket that costs $$$.

I say contact paper. It will stick very well to glass, it's nice and cheap, and comes in lots of pretty colours and patterns. Not too difficult to remove either.
