All I'm saying is if you spend it all say on hip-hop styled clothing, for example, and in a few years time you don't like that anymore you'll have a lot of wasted clothes. If the bulk of your clothing is neutral (to a degree) it's easier to keep a wardrobe that doesn't get wasted over time.

Ok, go to a Sears type store, get some jeans, about 3 pairs of stone washed straight cut jeans out of denim and 2 or 3 out of corduroy. Get 2 packs of 3 t-shirts, as well as 2 packs of 3-A-shirts/wifebeaters. Shoes: go spend a pretty penny on Florscheim (sp) casual shoes, as well as a pair of chuck taylors and puma's. For real shirts: Go get any dress shirt that has pinstripes in different colours, oh yes, and make sure the belt you get matches the florscheim shoes. Accessories: jewelry, maybe a fuzzy hat and a boa. A pink/purple boa.
