What kind of all loving God would want you to live like this?

I can also happily say I was never a TRUE Catholic. I used to just sit in church and say the right lines when prompted to do so, and when told, "Let us pray." I would just close my eyes and listen to what was being said without devoting any spiritual energy towards it.
