I did some quick reading on Ragging. It sounds as if it's an ugly tradition. Contact an anti-ragging committee; apparently an oral complaint is enough to get the authorities involved.

Do not respect, nor accept, their authority. If you catch a beating or someone attempts to humiliate you, it's only as bad as you allow. The only person that can accept something as an embarrassment is you. Remember that laughter and enjoyment can be a tool. Doing something outrageous may only serve as an amusing story for later in life.

Yeah I also just looked up ragging, pretty severe situation you have could have on your hands. I've known frat guys who have taken hazing really serious but apparently students in South Asia and such take it to knew extremes.

Euda pretty much covered it, try to avoid the aholes as much as possible and try to be in groups. Everything is back to normal, i haven't seen anyone from that Gang anywhere and i also got full support of my class. Tomorrow is Study Activity class and as far as i know it consist of seniors and teachers giving us orientation on various University clubs. Everyone is forced to attend it (Attendance Mandatory) hopefully it will go well.

Anyway, hopefully by next week i wont be facing this issue but still i will make sure this practice will end and i can assure you i will do my level best to end it.
