SWIM can supposedly talk to people through his mind, in which he can have normally manifesting conversations of everyday order, but from the comfort of his own home. He then came to me and explained it in more detail.

He says he can do this much easier after smoking weed (not shit weed but mediocre and up). It starts with him hallucinating, seeing weird patterns of different colors morphing in and out of themselves.

Then when he focuses on his mind, he is brought to a chamber, kinda like a throne room in which he himself occupies the throne. Around him are all the people he has a "mind-link" with and he can talk to them or they can talk to him at any time they please. Some of the people occupy more place than others, some have other chambers completely (mostly girls, SWIM is a guy) and some are closer to the throne than others (probably symbolizing the importance each person has on his life) I'm not sure if it's also important to note : Sometimes the throne room is in a castle setting, sometimes it's very organic and alien (like the actual movie Alien, Aliens, Aliens Resurrection)

The funny thing is he says conversations he touches upon through mind-link are usually reacted towards in real life, as in the two people that had the conversation give hints to eachother to let themselves know they had it.

Another friend described this process as "getting free text messages through your mind, while you're stoned"

So here's my question, is this whole talking through your mind enigma real or is it all just a delusion in his head ?

P.P.S. This whole force started happening to him about two weeks ago, now he is slowly able to go through this
process while under no exposure to chemicals, the weed just helped him "unlock it", although he claims it
to be more powerful while under it's influence.

SWIM should be patient and focus. S/he will find the answers through introspection. I personally believe this might have something to do with our social evolution. The future is going to be rough, and this trait just might allow some of us to survive the onslaught. Or… I am just as insane as SWIM.

I wish people would get over that "SWIM" nonsense.

Sounds to me, going by the drugs, and hallucinations, not to mention the fact that this person can detect links/hidden messages/what have you in ordinary conversation, as the early warning signs of psychosis.

I am reading a book on telepathy right now, which can be found here (http://www.psitek.net/pages/PsiTek-practical-mind-readingContents.html). I am only on chapter 5 of it, the information is interesting and useful but i don't like the way its presented, which is in a way to show you how to make profit from it.

What I have gathered from the book, other readings, and my own experience, that it seems more like your thoughts influence other peoples thoughts and they think of the thoughts as their own, rather than them actually hearing your voice inside their head. For example if you are trying to tell someone "make me a sandwich," they might get the thought in their head "he looks like he wants a sandwich."
If nothing else this seems like the most common way this is manifested and is mundane enough that


I would love to develop the ability to have conversations with thought alone though.



By the way if anyone knows of any good websites(maybe books, but I hate paying for information) on the psychic phenomenon, and specifically developing it, I would love to read them.
