Do any of you guys have any good suggestions on a good watch for like under $200, I don't care if it has been used, but it has to be legit and everything. I was think about getting a Movado.

Have a look at Swatch. They produce the odd gem in your price range.

I'm getting 2 in case I decide to break one out of boredom.

Look for a watch that is automatic. Keep your eyes open on the price. You can often find it online from a legit shop for half of what you would normally pay.

Invicta
Seiko

Spend up on a purchase like this. If it's something you'll use every day, spend double what you normally would. You will save in the end with a quality piece.

I suppose a Timex would be out of the question.

I own about 15, but what the hell do I know from watches?

TBH, i wont be much help, but heres my 2 cents.

If you're looking for a fancy looking watch [imo] like those seikos, eco-citizens, bulova, rolex, etc then i cant really give you an opinion. Nothing against them, just that ive never owned one, but i do think they're kickass :D

If you're looking for a trusty brand then check out CASIO. Ive had 4 casios in my lifetime and is the only brand ive ever used. Only reason ive had 4 is 'cause ive personally switched to new ones, not because they fucked up or anything of the sort. Otherwise, im sure id still have that good ol' casio everyone had [model f-91]. Idk if you've heard about the wave ceptors by casio. You choose a city you live in, or the closest one and every night the watch syncs with the nearest atomic clock around the world. For example, i live in the northeast [usa] so i choose NYC as the city and every night the atomic clock in Colorado syncs my watch with the "correct time" in NYC. Pretty badass. You have the option to turn it off, too. They also have the G-Shocks which are beasts! Those watches look like they could get ran over by an 18 wheeler and survive - those, though, may surpass 200 bucks.

But yea. if you dont wanna check out casio.....

THEN FUCK U

I bought one of those in year 8. When changing in and out of our sports uniform I actually couldn't get the cuff of my shirt over my watch without either undoing the cuff (bad idea) or taking the watch off.

Fuck's sake you guys...

For your price range, Tissot is the best. No question.

I have a $40 USD "Rumours" watch. Works fine, and it's something girls compliment me on all the time. But if you're insistent on spending 200, I am myself partial to Tissots.

I saw the coolest watch for 1300 in a jewelry store that was supposedly made out of titanium. It had a touch screen, but was completely analog.

A watch for anything more than a hundred knicker (And that is the most I'd pay for a fucking watch!) better be able to make me a cup of tea and jack me off while I drink said cup of tea...Else it's overpriced bollocks.

Agreed. I have four, two of which are the wave ceptor things--however, they don't auto-adjust in Alaska, being too far from the transmitter.

Really, what a gimmick.

Your standard quartz movement is accurate enough to not have fallen out of any sort of accuracy that you would require before you had to change it for daylight savings anyway.

That said, I like my watch because it ticks, even though I have to wind it up and adjust the time most mornings.

I really think that when it comes to a stylish watch, you can't beat analogs; both in business and elsewhere, an analog watch works just fine, and has the added feature of not looking like it came from a cereal box.

This man knows the score.

Swatch do some nice watches though.
