How can I alter a driveway motion sensor to make longer connections from the motion sensor to the light bulb? I need to extend a driveway motion sensor's light from one point , over to under my desk.

Also in your own opinion, how would you design a sleep space under ones work desk ?

I am planning on importing pillows from my home to work inconspicuously but besides that I don't know how else to design my sleeping space under my desk.

totse, help me achieve my dream of being able to sleep at work

I would bring a sleeping bag and pad to sleep on.

What do you do for a living? what's the building like?

large buildings. It's factory like. I just have a typical factory job receiving cheap assholes product returns . (product returns from major corporations (wal-mart/national hardware stores) to our company

This job made me realize that most people buy and use things only for purpose, that most Americans are cheap assholes. I get products that were only used like once all the fucking time from wal-mart and other Americian retailers.

your all cheap assholes.

I once bought a two pack of headlight bulbs at walmart, put 2 burned out bulbs back in the package and got a refund.

Thats a good idea, I'd do that too if lightbulbs weren't like, fifty cents each.

Headlight bulbs (for a car/truck/whatever) are typically a bit more expensive than that . . . and it is a good idea because people probably buy the wrong ones and return them frequently. The bulb numbers in my owner's manual dont always exactly match the numbers on the bulbs in the store.

Good point, those halogen bulbs are like fifteen bucks sometimes.

You could just splice longer wires to the ones that go to the lightbulb...

Sleeping at work do you want to sleep at work so you don't have to go home at night or are you trying to sleep on the job? I'm assuming you mean sleep there after you get off and theres no one there.

Idea 1
Bring a blanket and a pillow the floor is not hard to sleep on. I always sleep on the floor the carpet and padding underneath is quite comfortable, but I also sleep on stone tile sometimes which get cold a night.

Idea 2
You said you do product returns which I assume uses cardboard boxes. If no one is there at night make yourself a small shack that folds up and stick it behind your desk next night make a collapsible cot and stick behind your desk.

Idea 3
Use cardboard boxes to make a castle. Make very strong wall by gluing layers of cardboard together. Make weapons and some knight armour would be nice too. When your boss comes in demand a bed be bought for your use only, and ask for anything else you want. Don't take the castle until you get what you want and don't hesitate to use you nonlethal weapons.

i had break lights as my blinker lights for my old ford, i just whittled down one of the little metal prongs and ducktaped the cunt in, worked like a charm, i cant see break lights being bright enough to light up anything in front of you... but i love telling stories

this man is thinking with his head, if your sleeping at work expect nothing less then a 5 star box fort, the cardboard full platemail will save your life if ever theres a dragon inside

You can buy little adapters that screw into light sockets and give you an outlet (http://www.fdsons.com/images/elect/keyless_socket_adapter_758b.jpg). Just get one of those and run an extension cord from it.
Or you could just open it up and extend the wires.

And I wont hesitate to buy a tool or something from walmart and use it then bring it back when I'm away from home and don't have my own. I'm good at opening and resealing packages so that it isn't noticeable. ;)

Home depot has a great "rental policy" also. No questions asked on returns. My friend did this with a wet saw after cutting some 50 odd saltillo tiles with it. He didnt even clean it up first.
