What reasonable looking jacket/coat has HUGE pockets?

The reason im asking is because I bought a giant flask (holds 64 ounces :D)
and is about 8 inch by 12 inch and 1 1/2 thick.

I think trench coats are gay and would definately not wear one. A carhart coat would be good if it had the big pocket inside.

I dont know how to sew either.

That's the equivalent of two fifths of whiskey

... ridiculous!

I don't think you'll be drinking that in one session.

:( No im not drinking a handle of anything probably in one weekend even. But I could pour shots for friends or fill with a mixed drink.

Can you sew a pocket into a coat without having it noticable on the outside. I would assume you have to have the thread go to the outside of the coat and back in repeatedly, thus having a zig zag pocket outline on the outside?

I've sewn booze holding pockets onto the inside of many of my garments. Not hard at all.

Also, having a 60+ ounce flask entirely defeats the point of having a flask. So stfu get a real flask.

Get creative with glue, velcro and duct tape. Or get a Camelbak.

This.

also, I cannot sew. Hip-flasks are the natural choice.

and lol @ negz's idea :D

If the jacket has an inner linning you could sew a pocket into it (so you won't see the stitching on the outside) or you could do it the half arsed way and cut a hole in the inner linning = instant pocket. :p

Yes you can fucking sew. It's not rocket science. Needle goes in, needle goes out. Repeat.

I assume the purpose behind it is to smuggle it into clubs and what-not, and security usually checks bags, or will otherwise not let you bring them in.

OP, I know you said you don't like trench-coats, but how about over-coats? You can get ones that are very comfortable and stylish, I've got a nice Maninci one, and it looks good. Three inside pockets, two of which could house the flash you described, and one which you could easily fit a regular sized one in. You can also very easily make a slit in the inner-lining, and make one massive inner-pocket, as I have done. You could put a large bottle of your favourite alcohol in there, and no-one would be the wiser.

That's the best reply so far.

I opened this thread to suggest Carhartt. I just bought this jacket and it has 2 fairly large pockets on the inside of it.: http://www.carhartt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10101&storeId=10051&productId=32102&langId=-1&categoryId=10927#

Obviously you don't know me. I am smooth in the very narrow areas of my expertise, and fucktardedly useless in all other areas of life; translation: sewing is woman's work, anyways ;)
