So the other day I found a glass rose, only problem is one of the petals is snapped off, any recommendations on what I should be using to reattach it if its possible?

Gluing it would probably be your best bet.

Yes, but what with?

I didn't think superglue would be too effective on glass.

Can you melt glass? No? I thought not.

Anyways... maybe try soldering it together.

How big is the petal and the whole rose? & how clean are you wanting the repair to be?

I wouldn't try melting it back together unless you have experience working w/ glass like that.
Super glue doesn't work too well on glass & it'd likely just break right back off as soon as you put any pressure on it.

I'd try using some 2 part epoxy like you can find at Dollar General for $1 right next to the super glue.

Araldite. It will even glue that jade pony back together.

Use this one: http://www.selleys.com.au/Selleys-Araldite-Ultra-Clear/default.aspx from most hardware stores.

Silicone glue. Or something made specifically for glass.

super glue is pretty effective on glass.

Maybe use a piece of glass filler rod and "weld" it back together with a small blow torch

And since it's a glass rose, its not going to have to take alot of handling

I'd go with Araldite...That stuff is amazing...I love it so much!

Just knock up a gnat's-cock amount and spread it thinly.

Mebe.

I've really got no excuse for not getting around to fixing it considering I live down the street from a hardware store.

Hey man, in my experience superglue has always done fine on glass, but you might want to take emag's advice and go with epoxy to be safe.
