What the hell do I do? My whole class is struggling as our teacher is only at school 2 days a week and forgetting things. As a result it looks like we won't pass. Most of the class don't care but due to my subjects I have to pass and do quite well. This is senior year so it counts.

Left out alot as everyone seems to be American so have a different system but general advice is appreciated. Home study isn't an option.

Talk to the teacher about it. Failing that, talk to the head of their department.

are you in NSW? i could help you with parts of the HSC syllabus, depending on what subjects you do

anyway, talk to your principal. if that doesnt work, you could try finding notes online.
i used this site quite a lot for chemistry and biology because my teacher was too shit

At least your teacher isn't going off and having a kid.
My Spanish teacher did that, and now I have this nasty old lady who treats us like we're all snotty five year olds.

I also have a sneaking suspicion that I already know more Spanish than she does... but that's just a hunch.

What a shit. Is there anyone who did the subject in the previous year or two that could help you? You could get a tutor, but that's money you shouldn't have to spend.

You should try to take it up with the school council. My experience with this is mixed - we managed to get a teacher fired once, but didn't get them to hire substitute teachers for those of us doing VCE subjects. Their practice was to leave the senior class be in a teacher's absence, and this was generally OK. Unless they're off for over a month...

Whatever you try, good luck with it.

The main one is music 1, but the syllabus and notes give you nothing on what work is actually required, hence the problem.
A friend and i went and spoke to our year advisor about it and he's bringing it uop with the principal, justgetting the teacher put on year 8 so we can have the have qualified teacher who hasn't just had a stroke.

Haha I thought this was going to be more oriented towards Profs who are absent-minded. My Profs always show up to class, but my one Prof can hardly remember his fucking name.
