Hypothetically of course, would it just be men that got drafted do you think? Or would women get drafted as well? If it was just men, that would cancel out all the gender equality shit thats been going on...but you can't really draft women either, most of them just aren't fit for fighting, its usually just butch chicks in the army...what would go down do you think?

They'd probably use women to fill the non combatant roles etc.

If HR393 (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d110:H.R.393:) passes, all US citizens 18 to 42 are eligible to be drafted (they also narrowed the deferments in this bill). Women must also register with the selective service (obviously).

It would only be men since women aren't required to register for the selective service.

Both men and women at 18 must register.

More females will take more non combat and combat support jobs, releasing more men for combat jobs.

Some think that the Establishment would love to have an excuse to get their hands on the populace with a mandatory service. There are both pros & cons. It's been a while since I've read an article laying out the good & bad of it. Is it perhaps more likely under the new economic circumstances?

In the past people in some jobs were exempt from the draft.

They'd keep the chicks at home, probably getting them to work for defence contractors or making other supplies for the war effort.

Chicks as prisoners or casualties doesn't go down well when it gets on the news, enough chick troops getting capped would really put a dampener on the war effort unless there was a huge change in mindset among the average westerners.

Admin/Chaplain/Medic duty/Non weapon carrying duty. Or Alternative Service Program, where in the event your drafted, your essentially a slave sent to work to aid the Draft.

Anyway, as of now, only men 18+ are eligible for the draft, and if your a coward like Green Tea is Good, then if the draft board feels your a true conscientious objector, then they got the Alternative Service Program.
