Didn't know where to put this so mod move if you want.
I have a modem, and I share the internet with 2 other people. I don't want person #3 to get the full bandwidth and I want to leach some to get more bandwidth. How would I go about doing this?

kill him, then he won't be hoggin your internets
you could get one of those "internet boost" applications, but you'd be being a complete ass to anyone else trying to visit the sites your on. Basically what they do is instead of one internet asking for one download, it asks for lots of the same file and downloads it faster.
other than that, you could move out from under the bridge

Some routers let you assign bandwidth priorities. But the better option is to uncap your router, and/or steal wifi.

Routers aren't capped, your modem is. Install dd-wrt and use QoS.

there's a few programs out there.
they either need you to install the files on the other computers,
or to have a gateway computer.
