I have a deck, two tweeters and one or two 6.5in speakers I'd like to set up in my room. I've also got 2 subs, but unless its going to be really simple to do, I don't think I'll bother setting them up as they'd just piss my family off. Whats the easiest, cheapest way to set this up?
If theres a way to bypass the deck and just have a MP3 player or PC as input that would be great too.
thanks

You need output, that is "amplification".
MP3 players or a computer don't have amplification.
How is it you have one "or" two 6.5 inch speakers.
Which is it?
one or two?
It would be simple to do.
Can you do it?
With your short attention span.
Not sure

Lets go with one. :)
Also, what's a "deck"? A headunit, amplifier, mini system...what is it?

Prob a head unit.
I used to buy and resell head units on ebay. The way I would test the was to hook them up to one of these (http://www.batterycentralmall.com/Chargers/Jump_Box/images/JB950.jpg). This would supply the power and to charge it all you have to do is plug it into the wall. You could get a power supply, but they're pretty expensive and many won't put out enough amps to work. If you know how to hook a car stereo in a car then you can do it with this.

well, one 6.5 driver is rather worthless without its partner, as I see it.
So that leaves 2 subs and 2 tweeters.
Not looking good, speaker wise, audio range-wise, IMO.
Get a companion 6.5 inch midrange , is my suggestion.
Then, your needs go back to head units and amplification.

What are you on about? That's all a Honda Civic sound system needs...boom and sizzle. :D
