Hehe he flies across the english channel today i think.

So....Anyone ever thought of making wings that you can strap to your back? What materials would you pick? Would you want a longer, more tapered wing or a shorter, stubbier wing? What would you cover it in?

Materials to consider:

Aircraft grade Aluminum
Carbon Fiber
Steel(small amts)
Acrylic

We should have a great totse build off :)
Get a lump of clay, steel, whatever you can shape and make a model of the wings you want. The profile doesnt have to be right, just make it look right. Do some research aswell, i dont wanna see a wing that would be suitable in the 1900's....

Make a model, and list the materials you would use.
