but regardless as im sure most of you who follow the "FTA" scene know BEV and DN seem to be blacking out channels from what i know this is a change to N1.9 a version below N2 to fuck with people before they release the all new N3 from what i understand prepare for some down time for almost all receivers ... because once ALL channels have blacked out is when the work will start to be done to decrypt this new encryption this not to say it will not be done

from what im reading N3 is nothing more then N2 wrapped with a betacrypt and from what i under stand 3rd party coders already have software to to get the keys the keys are very long but can be gotten

I was gonna buy an fta receiver when I first read your thread. While researching, I found out they are switching to nagra 3, and that it wouldn't be possible to steal satellite tv once they switch. Is the nagra 3 going to be crackable with a standard fta receiver? Will you need extra hardware to crack it or just software? Also, what about those cheap fta pci cards? Do they work to steal sat tv? Do you know exactly when they're switching in the US? Didn't they already switch in Europe? Thanks
