I recently had a dream in which a small black animal with large eyes was in my home, seated on the desk in my living room. He stared directly at me for some time before moving to the ground and moving across the floor towards me. The last detail I can remember was that he was inches away from my feet. It had very large black eyes. It looked like a bat. But wasn’t. It was larger, and had facial features that, although very similar to a bat, indescribable. I don’t remember it having wings but it may have. My mother was also in the dream and replied to me saying it was a bat with, ‘No, it’s not’ … or something like that. At the opening of the dream my house was full of gnats (sp?) or some other type of very small flying insect, and two flies… I think. Maybe more. Any ideas?

I have recently begun having very vivid dreams. In the past I've always just had dreams that were "fuzzy" like all normal dreams tend to be when you wake and give them some thought. This began with a very strange dream in which I was near a pond with 3 Massive dead snakes. These things we're just huge. Since then I have at least one of these in every dream in some way or another and they always seem to be dead.

I've also had multiple involving the same down-on-their-luck family. They live in a place that is very dirty and ratty. In the first dream involving them a relative ended up dieing in some way. Since then when I get these dreams he is mention in a way as if he is still dead.

Anyone had these kinds of dreams before? Dreams that keep a continuity and repetitious symbols that seem to be far more realistic than anything you've dreamt before?
