How tall/wide are you? Black or white?

Needs to be Black. I would prefer that anyway. 6'4" tall, wide shoulders but aside from that i'm a preety lean build.

Eschew black or white or gray or navy, go with an olive/tan color. If you're a taller, thinner guy, purchase a three button, if you're shorter and slightly plump go with two.

I pull off 3 buttons well but I was sort of thinking about it, does anyone else think they might look a bit too high class or stupid at a graduation?

While some make the distinction of a 3-button being fashionable and 2-button business, I generally tell clients where I work at to go with what actually looks better on them, fashionable or not.

If you've been saving for your grad, I'd get it tailored. A good suit off the rack is hard to come by, in my experience.

Yes go for a three button suit.
It doesn't look high-class for graduation.
