I'd ask this in lab tips but there's no traffic there, someone here has to know this.

I tried to convert 50ml gbl to ghb and added a little extra lye and ended up with pH 10 so I added some vinegar and now its at pH 7 but still smells just like gbl kind of. The reaction seemed to go well.. it was so hot it was boiling out.

Is this now safe to drink? I know lye is harmful or fatal even if ingested so can I consume this? What happens to the lye that makes it safe to drink? If it even is..

Please any and all help is highly appreciated.

If the PH is 7 it is fine to consume, as far as that is concerned. And yeah, LT has traffic, we would have more if everyone didn't decide to just bring their questions here.

well i read up on it quickly and i'm under the assumption from the skipping i did that as long as the correct ratios are in order and the pH is at the suitable level this is safe to consume correct?

i understand where you're coming from trying to help me teach myself but this involves a lot of peoples safety so would you mind helping me out a bit please?

Even with something easy like GHB, you could fuck it up and poison people if you don't know what you're doing. It is perfectly clear that you don't take safety seriously, and don't know what the fuck you're doing. You probably cut all kinds of corners. If you were taking it seriously, you would know all this stuff like the back of your hand before you even started. You're an unethical scumbag for even THINKING of selling this stuff to others if you're having to ask simple shit like this. I feel bad for your customers. Hope they aren't your friends.

Sorry all for any misunderstandings and I certainly am not jeopardizing anyones safety, I went a little overboard on pharm grade alprazolam and methylmethaquaalone and don't know why I decided to begin this reaction. I was not in the proper mind state to perform such task and that is why I ran into problems.

All is well now, and sorry for any worries or whatnot I may have caused. I've done the process in a sober head and it went great, everything is A O.K.

I didn't even use a scale last night that's how bad off I was..
