We have a lot of spooky Russians up there in the sticks of NE Fla.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, FL -- A team of investigators are trying to piece together clues into what caused a truck to explode outside a park in St. Johns County.

The explosion left one person dead inside the truck. The victim has not been identified.

The truck was a newer model, white Honda.

It was found at Vail Point Road near US Highway 1 South in St. Johns County.

The Fire Marshall's office is assisting the St. Johns County Sheriffs Office in this investigation.

Foul play has not been ruled out.

So much for conspiracy theories. The local news now says that the local sheriff's office is sure that the truck exploded as the result of a suicide attempt (a successful attempt, I might add). I can't imagine a worse way to die, although getting run over feet-first by a pavement roller might run a close second. Although I know that you were being facetious, we don't actually have many bombings or unexplained explosions in NE Fla. I never hear any chatter about the subjects discussed on TOTSE or other sites. Chlorine bombs, yes, and other kewl type stuff, but real devices are pretty rare. I've never really figured out why that is.

IDK, but I always figured being exploded would be a pretty quick (and unfortunately OTC) way to go. Unless you used some incendiary. Then you're just stupid. That would suck ass.
