Well, needless to say, I feel the world is giong to shit. Don't really care to go into details, but it is looking rather ominous.

I realized that I have too many weapons chambered in too many odd calibers.

So I think the 8mm, .32 acp and other such odd calibers in my collection must go.

My question is, what calibers do you guys think will be the easiest to be had?

I'm thinking 9x19 for sure, so I'm going to spring for the Kel Tec Carbine and a G-17, because of the bonus of inerchangable mags.

My wife also can handle a 9x19 and AR better than most men I know.

Perhaps .40 will become more plentiful due to its increased use by the law.

Any other weapons that are easy to clean, maintain, and find parts for would be appriciated. No AK's, I like SKS better, and they are too brutal for a a woman anyways.

As always, thank you in advance.

Of course,

.22 lr

9mm Parabellum

.223/5.56x45 NATO

.308/7.62x51 NATO

12 gauge 2 3/4"

and to a lesser extent .50 BMG

I am purposely not including Soviet surplus like 5.45x39, 7.62x39, and 7.62x54R since should the ATF desire, they could just put the brakes on ammo imports, and our own gun industry would moar than likely not tool up to manufacture those calibers for the same price and ease of access like the surplus imports come at. These could be arguably better than those NATO calibers I mentioned if the surplus stream keeps a-flowin.

Yes, that is my concern about any calibers that are foreign...

I suppose my Schofield is an odd man out too. But he shall stay. :)
