What in the hell do I do in order to get published? Magazines, a book itself, anything. Should I just write it and submit it? How does one accomplish something like this?

You can pressure one of two paths in my mind:

1. Write your own stuff, start small, like writing articles for a local paper or mag, then push for your own coloum. work your way up from there, once you have established yourself as a reporter/coloumist publishing comapnys will be a million more times likely to cincider publish what ever work you might wright.

2. Fount your own publishing company/ paper. You can publish small startup writers and hope one of them gets famous or at least enjoys a period of commerical success, then sell out to the conglomerates.
Or resist major coperation's will. Right... un huh....

Start by writing small like short stories. Some say its harder since you have to cramped up all your ideas in unlike in a novella or novel.
You could do something like writing all your ideas in a paper as fast as you can. Don't worry about grammar etc. You could fix it later. Just write all your ideas and organize them later. I'm not a writer but I think it is a good start. Also, I do love reading books.
