Doesn't prove anything. Also if they tested it with (comparably) shitty tires/setup/driver vs. nissan testing with more optimum variable(s), it would be easy to get a huge discrepancy. ALSO the original test was probably with a jap/euro-spec model.

Yeah, saw this yesterday on another forum. Wouldn't doubt it. Production models that were independently tested made +/- 50 hp compared to what Nissan claimed, and in independent magazine testing of four different GTRs the quickest one hit 60 in 3.5~ and the slowest in 4.1, all with the same conditions, driver, and weight. Whether or not they cheated, I still think the GTR isn't the giant killer it's meant to be.

C6 Z06's beat the shit out of the GT-R very easily.
