Why I Carry A Gun

abiding by a law one knows to be wrong is criminal - you're the scumbag here. the idea that criminality is a abstraction that people that have power determine is disgusting. you make me sick. if you had said, 'while i know it to be wrong, the consequences of exercising my natural right as a human to arm myself as i deem appropriate are too great for me to consider doing so", i would at least not consider you a piece of shit. if the law said you had to turn in a family member for execution if they were caught with a book, would you still do it so you wouldn't have to be a 'criminal', since you love the law so much.

yes, i do think they are exercising their natural right to being armed. they have their reasons for shooting each other. you don't have any right to tell them how they should arm themselves.

No I wouldn't, thankfully (though some may argue) I dont live in a country that oppressive. Believe me, I would carry a gun, but getting caught here has massive ramifications for not just me, but my family (I won't go into detail but it would not look good in the press) So not only following the letter of the law, but also protecting my family from the ramifications of me getting caught with a concealed weapon.

NB: I would rather protect my family legaly concealed carry, hence I'll probably emmigrate to USA or Yemmen.

Why wont the OP go to heaven? A gun is simply a mechanical device, it is not inherently good or evil, it simply is there. last time I checked, more people in this country die from car accidents then guns, but nobody (except angry hippies) this we should get rid of all cars. I carry a gun all the time and I haven't shot anyone.

Also, it never said the 3 enemies had guns. and even if they did, I'd rather have have a chance than no chance.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it. alot of times just your possession of the weapon to a criminal trying something will scare them away. Gotta carry it everywhere all the time cause the time you leave that thing at home is when shit goes down, especially the way things are these days.

It feels weird when I am not carrying a concealed firearm(s).

Such as when I go in to prohibited places (per florida state law),

Schools.
Courthouses.
etc.

Feels weird not having it on me -- even for a short period of time.
