Should I concentrate in networking or programming?

I would guess networking from what I've heard about programming jobs going to India and what not. But I dunno, man. What do you want to do? What does your advisor recommend? I can't imagine your job opportunities would be that different with either concentration. You've still got the computer science degree.
Does the world really need another computer guy?

Consider the odds of him actually finishing a degree, the odds of him not switching his major to something else, and the odds he will actually work in the computer science field, whatever that means.
But this is a dumb question, OP. Talk to an advisor. Maybe some people in the tech forums here. Maybe.

Answer: Networking
-- Each country needs a network infrastructure, meaning the jobs stay where you are.
Other than that, computer science is a shitty field.
It really is shitty.
I believe programmers should be paid a bunch of cash.
People that do the physical labor should be paid less.
Things are crazy and fucked up.
I left the field long, long ago.
I earn quick cash here and there, but it's just not worth it.
Keep it as a hobby, not a profession.
But you could do things that relate to engineering and apply your computer science knowledge there.
That will earn you good money. Go into aerospace engineering. Perhaps bioinformatics.
Networking is more of an IT(major) type deal, assuming you have that where you are going.
