View Full Version : Waist Belts
Totse, what are your thoughts on belts worn for fashion around the waist? The ones that aren't actually there to hold up clothing - probably more used to exaggerate the size of the boobs
eg:

I reckon they look good because yes they make boobs look bigger, but if the girl is chubby then it will sit between their belly and tits thus making them look fatter

I thought girls wore those because they had a bit of gut.

No, it accentuates the 'vase' shape of the female body.
Only really works on skinny / fit girls.

Pretty much, but these belts are mostly elastic, so it dusn't really pull in the fat :p

They still try.
Are you defending fat people who wear skinny peoples clothes?
Would you enjoy looking at a 15 stone rhino-girl wearing size 0 jeans with her gut piling over them?
No, it's not pretty is it.

horrible..
I fucking hate this fad.
A shirt that's too long to be a shirt, to short to be a dress.
Footless leggings.
Ballet flats.
Ugly chunky fat squishing belt.
Ironic hairpiece or sunglasses.
You look like shit.

I think they can look good on a hot girl.
On a fatty, it rivals the muffin top.

for women's belts, they really only useful for not making a long piece of clothing like a summer dress not so monotonous
for mens belts, they only good for suits, really

Almost every girl in the bars and clubs around here looks like this. It's totally grim.

Looking like everyone else is fashion? Fucking boring if you ask me.

Nobody did ask you... and don't try and make it out as if you're an 'individual' you need to copy at least SOMEONE with what you're wearing, or else you would be naked.

I've seen some girls look really good with 'em....And then some looking terrible.
I think it's got to a point where girls don't try with them anymore, they just slap 'em on with anything.
If you're going to do it, do it with effort I say.
Yes, that's called fashion.
It's not fucking fashion. It might have been, back in like the '90s. Now it's just what Hollister and Bluenotes happen to be shoving down teen girls throats.
Unfortunately, not literally.

Actually, it's been brought back from the 1960's, and since people are back wearing them again, that's called fashion. I don't understand how you can say it was fashion back in the 90s and although a lot of people are wearing them again now it's not fashion  Even if 'Hollister and Bluenotes' are encouraging people to wear them, it's still fashion. Every type of clothing is fashion.
