With an army brigade now deployed in America, I am wondering if the government is anticipating something. Whether it be a stock market crash, terrorist attack, or disaster, it seems to me the government is preparing for civil unrest and/or martial law. What are your guy's thoughts?

you're an idiot.

There are troops already in the states, they've been here for years. try army bases for instance,

Fort Knox holds the 194th armored brigade, which includes the following

1st brigade 46th infantry
2nd brigade 46th infantry
1st battalion 81st armor regiment
2nd battalion 81st armor regiment
3rd battalion 81st armor regiment
5th squadron 15th cavalry regiment

from the fort knox military website

or better yet, lets check fort Benning

192nd infantry brigade
197th infantry brigade
198th infantry brigade
199th infantry brigade
