I had to get a criminal record check before getting accepted into school. (healthcare)
I thought I was going to be clear but one thing showed up.

I've done a bunch of shit, been driven home in a cop car several times, never been charged or gone to court though.
I've driven without a licence, I've had drugs on me, I've been drinking underage. I've had to sit there with cops, and give them my name and information, but nothing more then that.

The only thing that showed up on this record check though was a big fight my family and I had back in 2004 when I was 15. We were arguing about something and I got violent, the cops got called and took me to the hospital to "calm down". Big deal right?

I have to write up a statement explaining why my name appears in the RCMP files. Since I was a minor they don't have access to this information, but I have to write a statement disclosing it.

The deadline is October 12th and I'm really strugging with what to write. All I'm required to say is what happened, although I want to say something about how people do stupid shit when they're younger. Stuff happens, I'm different now.

I realllly don't know what to write though. Any opinions?

"I have no idea why my name would appear in any law enforcement files, as I have never been convicted of any crime. I can only think that it is a case of mistaken identity."

If they have no way to verify, lie your ass off, obviously.

Lol, you're going to get fucked up if you lie.

How so? She already said that the school can't see the actual incident report, only that her name appears in the files.
