from jalopnik:

"Let's say you have a Dodge Charger but find the performance, style and two superfluous doors just don't suit you. Perhaps you should take your problem car to Force Performance in Miami, Florida, as they've decided to chop off the rear doors, lay down some coupe styling and perform a modest power upgrade to the Hemi V8 via twin turbos and a supercharger. The Tricharger borrows some of its styling from the 70's-era Chargers, like the scallops on the doors and the revised nose end. But ith a monster mill like that under the hood, it doesn't actually matter what the thing looks like. We just want big, smokey, monster burnouts."

that thing is a beast, i have a fondness for tri-charging (biturbo and supercharger). i know there's an rb26dett thats tri-charged:

and of course, the old lancia group b rally cars, like this delta s4:

(some how i want a focus svt and put the martini livery on it, because i know i wont be able to get a delta s4 here, they made only 200 of them, in street tune it made 250 hp, the rally car hit 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, and made 550 hp)

i know nissan had a march superturbo thats both supercharged and turbocharged, and vw has their TSI twincharger. (both motors are i4's and only have one turbo, the nissan march with 930cc and the vw with 1.4L)

Have you seen how peaky the 1.4 twincharger is? A lil more boost, stronger internals, and you've got 300 lb ft out of 1.4l.

i wish vw would import that in the polo, or some other small car. its a nice motor, i think it won the best motor in its class the year it was introduced. that thing is only 100cc's bigger than the damn hayabusa motor. i think this motor would be perfect in a seven

nope, how about the new audi v-12? 550 hp and 700 ft/lb, its a beast. audi made a concept car based on the r8 with that v12 diesel, they also didnt have a strong enough transmission to use, that amount of torque is amazing, and i'm sure you can slap a supercharger on that thing to compliment its twin turbos.

Can you not import it under that "collecters item" getout clause the US department of transport has? Or do what that dude I read about did: completely disassemble it (he had an old Ferrari I think), import it as scrap, then re-assemble it.

Anyway, there is a garage about 40 miles from me (one of about 4 Lancia garages in the UK) and he has an S4 for sale. £100,000 I think. I went and sat in it when my dad was getting some spares for his Integrale. You could just feel the power, even with it turned off. He wouldn't let me test drive it though......

On a side note, I think the S4 the Henri Toivinen crashed on Corsica was running in the region of 750bhp, due to some beef with the new Quattro running around 700bhp, hence why he lost control and crashed and died and got Group B banned. Selfish cunt.....

yeah i watched the video clip from that last race, scary shit. toivinen was sick, but really wanted to race so he pushed it, he was afraid of crashing before he went off, said the car is much too powerful. you should check out youtube, all that was left of the car was the spaceframe, the body and stuff all burned down

Well, if Brabus got Mercedes's v12 TT to 1150~ lb ft, I'm sure the Q7's engine can go a bit further than that.

Thats what the new charger should have looked like. Big as hell, two door, that changed hood to make it a little more pointy, and an opinion for a triturbo engine.

They pretty much made a chrystler 3hunned and called it a charger.
