It was windy and the I could feel the pistol grip rubbing against the joint at the top of my thumb. After the past couple of days it had made the skin there quite hard and red. I knew I should probably get some cream for it whenever I could.

Pretty soon I was sprinting before collapsing to the floor and adopting the prone firing position. I immediately checked my sights were set correctly, before pulling back the cocking handle and loading a round into the chamber. I could hear the shots starting around me, I looked to my sides and saw the line of us, each trying to put shots accurately down upon our opposers.

I knew this was no time to be contemplative or philosophical - I had a task to do, and do it I must. Despite the fact that up until now, mere seconds had passed - it seemed like ages. I brought my rifle to bear in my shoulder, looked through the sight picture and squeezed the trigger to first pressure - adjusted my breathing then took the last squeeze. *bang*

"STTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP" It was all over, the firing had ceased and our opposers had gone. We were now presented with a clear view.. No outlines at all.

I now questioned my own actions, "How many shots had actually found their target?", "Could I have reacted better?", "What if..." My own thought process was interrupted by the sound of a radio.

My mind still kept going back to seeing the black outline of a man falling..

"UNLOAD" - We removed our magazines, checked our chambers were empty before firing off the action. We then dressed behind the firing point... before being allowed to check our targets. I looked at the 6foot sqaure wooden board with the black outline on it and saw a small group of shots just to the right of its head - "Damn, sights were off."

Thats the day I shot a man, he wasn't your average man mind you - some would say he was only the shape of a real man... ;)

well my best friend shot me in the leg with his 9mm, dumbass didnt know there was one bullet in the chamber, he was dumb enough to point that shit at me, and pulled the fucking trigger, it was the worst pain in my life,

and im still stuck living in the same apartment with him

one of my friends once got his hands on a 22. and was playing around with it. long story short. it was unloaded. he was trying to scare us with it but then decided to load it and fire off a few rounds at some birds. Comes back in the room to load the gun, pointed the loaded gun at my face and pushed down the trigger but the safety was on. I was freaking out and told him to put it down. then he goes 'Don't worry, the safetys on *fiddles with safety*...seee?! *points gun to wall and pulls trigger*. a firecracker like sound filled the room.

Pretty much this. It isn't something that is pleasing to talk about and when you do trust someone to the point to where you can be honest with them, they freak out on you.

Go back and search for my thread about getting robbed working for Domino's. If I'd have said Fuck it, and doved in my car I could have legally emptied my 1911 into the fucker and walked scott free. Being 10 feet from the car, I wasen't going to take the chance he had a loaded gun + shooting at me the second I move.
